  3. This property editor lets you concentrate on designing your program instead
  4. of remembering those cryptic glyph filenames. Integrates with Delphi to
  5. present you with a grid of glyph pictures to choose from at design time,
  6. whenever you edit a glyph property. Also shows the filenames. Easily 
  7. adjusted zoom factor.

  9. Important
  10. =========
  11. You MUST unpack the ZIP file with the -d switch, so that the directories
  12. are also unpacked!
  13.  
  14. Installation
  15. ============
  16. Depending upon whether you use Delphi 1.x or 2.x, the GLYPHLOD install files
  17. are in INST16 or INST32 subdirectories. Installation couldn't be simpler, 
  18. just place GLYPHLOD.DLL either in WINDOWS\SYSTEM or in another directory on
  19. your path (DELPHI\BIN perhaps). Place GLYPHLOD.DCU where you have decided to
  20. keep downloaded components (or in DELPHI\LIB if you have no dir for 
  21. downloaded components). When in Delphi, choose Install Components and then 
  22. Add, and use the browser to find the file GLYPHLOD.DCU (you have to switch 
  23. to unit files in the open dialog). Click OK and then another OK, and Delphi
  24. will begin to mangle your hard disk. All done! It is VERY important to place
  25. the DLL in an accessible location FIRST, since the GlyphLoader won't run 
  26. without it!

  28. Trying it out
  29. =============
  30. Place a component with a Glyph property (TBitBtn, TSpeedButton etc.) on a
  31. form, and select its Glyph property. Press the '...' beside it, and then
  32. select the Load button. Voilß! Or press the RIGHT mouse button over the
  33. component to pop up a menu with commands for loading and saving the glyph.

  35. ShareWare
  36. =========
  37. This product is neither FreeWare nor Public Domain. It is released under the
  38. ShareWare concept, which means that you can try it out for a reasonable time
  39. (we suggest 30 days) and then decide whether to register it or stop using it.
  40. The ShareWare concept only works when people register the products, of
  41. course - we need inspiration for developing things, just like anyone else.

  43. implied, on this product - neither can we be held responsible for any damage
  44. or loss of data caused by this product.

  48. When you've tried the product and decided to register, follow the below
  49. procedure. The registered version doesn't contain the annoying message that
  50. pops up 10% of the time you use the product, and optionally includes source 
  51. code revealing some of the mysteries surrounding property and component
  52. editors.
